"I’ve always been your typical honors student. I grew up in advanced placement classes with the same twenty students, and I rarely spoke to anyone while at school. I had very few friends, and found expressing myself extremely difficult. For whatever reason, I was compelled to join the speech and debate team under Jennifer Clarke’s leadership. Unbeknownst to me, I had a talent that never would have been developed without Jennifer Clarke/Mom/Clarkey/Jen-nay. While I was an English II honors student of hers my sophomore year, I truly became one of her “kids” my junior year. Aside from the many English AP essays of mine that she edited/critiqued, Jennifer Clarke coached me in Persuasive Extemporaneous speaking, Lincoln-Douglass debate, and Congressional debate. The knowledge Jennifer Clarke gave me has helped me receive a complete academic scholarship to Lamar University, a Lamar Ambassadorship, and even become a leader in my sorority. She taught me to always strive to be the best I can be, and she has a way of teaching a wide variety of students the same lesson. I highly recommend her educational services."

“I always looked forward to attending Mrs. Clarke’s class and learning from her because, unlike some teachers, she made the educational experience and enjoyable one. As a student, I really could feel that she loved her job as an educator and that she was truly at home in the classroom. Mrs. Clarke did an excellent job ensuring that I understood our lessons and would sacrifice time at home for after school tutoring and debate meetings.  Needless to say, by  the time I graduated high school I had competed at district and state levels and had the opportunity to compete in our state capitol. Not only was Mrs. Clarke an excellent teacher, but she is someone I to this day trust whole heartedly.  I can honestly say that I grew as a person because of having such an amazing teacher and one can only hope that other students get to experience what it’s like having a truly dedicated educator.”

“She truly loves our children, and cares about their well being. I know this, because she taught my youngest son, Tyler. She was born to do what she does. It's her passion. She dearly loves all of her students, and they love her. She is truly called to do what she does.”

“In my daughter's senior year of high school she was blessed by the most amazing teacher of her life, Jennifer Clarke.  "Clarkie", as the students referred to her, approached my daughter as a person and not simply student.  In an educational system which seems to focus entirely on test scores and state standards, Jennifer not only met and surpassed these requirements, but was more concerned with the overall development of her students as young adults taking an interest in who they are and meeting them at their point of need to address each in the best manner.  As my daughter had always maintained excellent grades, the changes I saw in my daughter were related more to self confidence/esteem, reasoning ability, and decision making; areas which can't be taught from a textbook or exam.  The impact Jennifer has had on my daughter has carried over into her college career, and in a world where children are bombarded daily with situations that can literally have life or death consequences, I believe the skills Jen imparted on her have played a large part in the difference between success and failure in her life.  Thank you Clarkie!!  It's not possible to express with words my appreciation for all you do and have done.”

— Carrie from Texas.

“I want to thank Ms Clarke for editing my resume and giving it that professional touch. It was organized and well written. I feel a lot more confident in presenting my resume to prospective employers.”

"My greatest possible endorsement is that I would love to have Jen teach my grand kids!  She would challenge them to think, and never let them settle for less than their best.

Any parent whose child needs the personal and authentic instruction absent in many of today's classrooms should not hesitate to give Jennifer a call.  She is very knowledgeable and professional ...she is the personification of everything good about teaching!"
